Waled Elkhoby currently working at Agricultural Research Center, Field Crops Research Institute, Rice Research and Training Center (RRTC), Egypt. He completed his PhD degree in Agronomy, Tanta University, Egypt. His residual and international level research and training led to the scientific co-operation between Rice research and training center and Inversions Agro gourmet SAS, Colombia. He conducted research on the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) to minimize the quantities of water irrigation and chemical fertilizers which are used in cereal crops cultivation. He also evaluated the international rice core collection under Egyptian conditions (heat, drought and salinity tolerance) from 2006-2008.

Professor Attipalli Ramachandra Reddy, senior faculty in the Department of Plant Sciences has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa for a period of three years. Professor Attipalli Ramachandra Reddy, who was born in Gudur, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh, obtained his Masters and PhD Degrees in Botany from Sri Venkareswara University, Tirupati. He was a post-doctoral fellow at University of Hyderabad; Scientist, Department of Genetics, Osmania University, Hyderabad; UGC Research Scientist-A at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He joined Pondicherry University as the founder faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences and later joined the University of Hyderabad. He was DBT-overseas Research Associate at the Mississippi State University, USA, Visiting Scientist at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA. Visited several countries including USA, Moscow, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia for academic research collaborations.

Amar Bahadur currently working as Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology) at College of Agriculture, Tripura, Lembucherra, Agartala-799210 (W.T.), India. He completed his PhD degree in Mycology and Plant Pathology, B. H. U, Varanasi. His international level research and training led to the scientific co-operation Integrated disease management in commercial cultivated flowers in Tripura. He conducted research on Diversity of phytoplasma infecting different crops and weeds in Tripura region of India. He also evaluated Root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne graminicola) affecting yield losses in rice crop. CAU farm magazine, Imphal.
